Deri is born on February 8, 2007 in Finland at Anne Fredrikson. In the beginning there was no problem to send him alone with a plane, but later they said that a dog cannot fly unaccompanied. With a great help of Ellen and Peter van der Meijden, from here a very big thank you for them , they  found a knowledge of them where was in Finland with a dog and which was spontaneously ready to accompany Deri on the flight to Düsseldorf in Germany. From here a very big thank you to that knowledge too. The trip was planned for July 22, 2007. Anne drove with  Deri and a big case from Kangasniemi to Helsinki Airport (about 3 hours). She bought a ticket for Deri, but afterwards for the loading, the team from the airport did not charge the box, apparently the box was too small. We was already on the way to Düsseldorf, when Anne telephoned to  communicate us the bad news. To return Anne made again 3 hours with Deri in the car. It was a great disappointment. On August 03, 2007, I flew with a big case to Finland to pick up him. It was very two nice days together with Anne and Deri  and I thought when I stay two days with him, the trip is more easy for him . On August 06 we started at 2 o'clock in the night to Helsinki by car. At the airport  I  redeemed the case and we gone together to the check in. In tears, Anne said goodbye to Deri. The door of the airplane was too small and the box did not go through. I had to take Deri from the box, and the crew from the airport made the box in two parts and put it in the plane. In the plane the crew assembled the box and I put Deri in. We flew to Amsterdam.

 In Amsterdam after the passengers left the plane, I gone with the captain under the plane. It was the same thing then in Helsinki to unload Deri. After a quarter hour two men brought me Deri in the baggage hall. Sandra, Ellen and Peter waited at the exit of the baggage hall . We were pleased that Deri was now at home.
