The origine of the breed:
It is an
old-established ancient Hungarian herdsman dog. His
ancestors came with the occupation of the Magyars coming from the Ural
; they
needed these dogs for the guard and to the protection of their herds against
carnivores and thieves. Through his hunting instinct it was employed in of the
king Matthias Corvinus to the hunt preferably. Since the drop of the Herdsmen
his initial use has become much rarer, and it is in the villages and become
later even in the cities domestic.
General appearance :
The dogs of this race are strong, increased in a large way and show a d
ense, wavy, white coat of hair. Its pleasing appearance broadcasts nobility and strength. The individual parts of the body match harmoniously and the legs are not long neither too shortly nor too. The bone structure is strong, however, not coarse.. Plentiful muscles . Figure, lively temperament, strengthens great mobility. His external one shows tireless efficient.
Behavior and character :
The Kuvasz is brave and fearless. He defends the persons entrusted to his care
or possession pieces assigned to his protection also by application of his life.
It is self-conscious, in case of bad processing he can become aggressive. It is
loyal, reliable, loves his gentleman and his environment. He needs a lot of
movement and must be occupied. It is unpretentious, his care
is simple and he sustains also very bad weather
circumstances well
. It is thankful for the love and welfare
shown to him .
